The Power of Esperanto

Joel and Genya Amos were a Cold War couple who also met through Esperanto. Murphy would actually meet her husband through Esperanto, which brings us to another reason that people joined the community. What we have in the Esperanto community is kind of like a microcosm for what could be or what should be this community on a small scale. This is the world that Zamenhof dreamed of.
