The Problem With John 14.6

In John 14.6, Jesus says that no one comes to the Father except through me. That's not stained glass, feathered, layered hair holding a lamb Jesus. An idol is anything that we exalt above God, including ourselves. We live in a culture that teaches us that it's okay to elevate our own thoughts and opinions above God's. If you belong to Jesus, the Bible tells us that we're supposed to take our mind, will, and emotions, and feelings, our thoughts captive and make them obedient to Jesus.
