Why Christians Don't Adopt Platonism
In nominalist metaphysics, human beings are really just an arbitrary word that we place on a group of traits. A Christian thinks teleologically, a Christian thinks with ends, telly, ends, purposes. And the purpose for the Christian is the fullness of Jesus Christ. The truly deified human being is Jesus Christ. Our true identity lies, I think, in Jesus Christ, our true identity lies in the future.
