Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig's Barbie are out on the same day. People have debated at length whether they should see the biographical drama or the fantasy comedy first. Part of the excitement about these two films is because of the filmmakers involved in each one. These two films can capture some of the caprices of the modern movie industry.
