The Importance of Role Models in Psychology

Shazbot with 999 says, what importance do role models have in improving our psychology? Huge importance. Like a big part of what's grounded my conception of the ideal of the perfection I seek is having access to people both real and fictionalized. You've got to actually be able to see many different examples and many different contexts. And so being able to identify and really learn about and engage with the people who represent at least aspects of the ideal doesn't have to be like one person has it all.
