The Variant Perception of the Banking System

Silicon Valley Bank fell on March 7th. The bank was one of the first to be hit by a rise in interest rates, which is good for banks because they can lend more money. But John MacIntosh and his firm disagreed with analysts who said that rising rates are good for banks. He says it wasn't a deposit walk, as Bob Elliott says, or a deposit jog or a slight run. It was a deposit gallop, right? And mainly because the left side of the balance sheets were in severe, severe issues.
