The Covenant: A Hermeneutic for Reformed and Confessional Faith
The covenantal aspect truly is, I believe essential and important. It's hard to read historically reformed sources and not see them pretty quickly taking a deep dive into the covenantal implications of particular passage of scripture. To be a reformed Christian is to understand the continuity between the Old Testament and the New Testament. And that continuity is expressed through a succession of covenants and through an overarching covenantal structure.
