Introduction

Peter Cole is one of my favorite poets. He's a translator, he's the author of many books. Most recently, his exquisite, Draw Me After,. which is a series of echphrastic poems. At their heart meditate on the Hebrew language on the different letters. The epigraph takes a line from the Zohar and imagines the letters commanding the lover to chase after them.
