The Threat of AGI
I think there's no philosophical or technical reason why we will never have AGI. I do think people are a little bit overly optimistic because we're currently at the beginning of an exponential, but most exponential is flattened out. It'll change the human condition all the time without G in the AI world. But yeah, I think it's really hard to not be optimistic about this progress.
