In the nineties clogs were thought to be too dangerous for hard labour. But now they're much safer than a modern boot with a steel cap inside. The netherlands organization for applied scientific research ran tests on them. They bashed them with a mechanical hammer, put one ton weights on them and baked them in ovens at 300 degrees. Heve survived. We managed to save his feet.
