There was a particular genetic mutation in the chemical pathway, the metabolic pathway, which is processing this particular anesthetic. It only exists in one group of people and we think it occurred about 2,000 years ago. So when you notice things like that, you can go back through history and work out when that mutation occurred. But ultimately, you have groups that tend to marry and have children within their own groups.
