Fudgy the whale is a special cake brand. Carvell was founded by tom carvell, who gave birth to this whole franchise ice cream phenomenon. Legend has it, tom carvell had an ice cream truck that broke down and his ice cream started to melt. And he found that the customers actually liked it soft. So he was like, wait a second, and he started serving soft serve ice cream. No one else was doing that. He developed a soft serp ice cream machine. He sold it to other franchises.
