When it comes to climate modelling, you can't get data from the future. You tested models by putting in climate data from thepas a millions of years ago. And then run the simulations to see if those forecasts that they made coincided with what we see to day. So this is using what's called hind casting to check reliability of forecasting. But i didn't find out anything, because i think important to talk about failure in science. and so i never published any of that. I this is strange, isn't it?
