Domestication of Animals
Humans in a fertile crescent learned how to domesticate and plant their own emme wheat and ncorn wheats. Logically, it makes sense for human domesticate plants before animals. Plants don't tend to run away from anybody, so it's much easier to keep them under control. The origins of an a domestication has proved to be a very tricky subject on the face of it. With all the science available these days, it shouldn't be quite so tricky. It could be a subject where answers start appearing through research over the next decade or two.
