The Importance of Vaccinating Poultry
In Europe and North America, authorities are pushing ahead with plans to vaccinate poultry against the current strain of H5N1. Ghazi Kiali says it is always humans creating an unnatural interface where these viruses can now jump species. The virus is there and it sees the vaccine, but then it mutates and adapts itself. Then you have a mutated virus that is now resistant to whatever vaccine that you're using.
