Is the Death of Localism a Global Liberal Project?
I think a lot of it, you know, is sort of just a reflection of the changes in production. We're living in a post industrial society and in the knowledge economy is what really drives America. And I think that it's just identifying as LGBTQ or a white supremacist or whatever is just like a way to feel like you are grounded in something or a part of a group. Because otherwise, we're very individualized.
