Our nervous system has three branches there's the sympathetic that most people have heard of and then there's two branches in the power sympathetic one is called ventral one is called dorsal. Learning to recognize what state you're in can be really helpful so if someone's stuck in sympathetic they might be angry, anxious or depressed.
