There are overt references in this on there like there's a moment when you see like text what's his name scribbled on a wall. John waters would go into sit in courtrooms just to watch trials and just to get material uh it it i mean even even later in the film in pink flamingos he's talking about new mr vader - she says of course i am i am the queen i am divine so goodYeah there is clearly that fascination with cults that obviously runs throughout all of waters movies right of cults and crime and all of that that's all going on in the background but also the how weird is the music in this film right?
