The Legend of the Blue Dog Ghost
Legend has it that a man and his blue takehound were killed by an angry ghost. The dog was rumoured to be part mastiff, one of the largest dogs there are. Blue tick hounds are a real breed, but they aren't literally blue. They're white with black spots so from a distance they look gray - which you could think of as blue.
