The Essay and the Creative Essay
I like to sort of embarrass myself in my own writing. Dredging up this old fiction I wrote like in late high school, early college. That's too far from me. If anyone is listening to this and has access to any of that, I'll find you. It'll get ugly. And it was so pretentious and awful and in retrospect. But I also still love all those authors and there is something inside me still that has that kind of hangs on to that stupid dream of literary impressiveness.
