As a child Jung noticed his mother seemed to have two personalities also usually she was quite conventional and warm. one night I saw coming from her door a faintly luminous indefinite figure whose head detached itself from the neck and floated along in front of it in the air like a little moon. another head was produced and again detached itself and this process was repeated six or seven times unquote now all of his early childhood experiences combined to make his interest in the metaphysical world very strong.
