I think in Britain as well, there's a huge sense of kind of fatigue around war and warfare after the Second World War. These things just don't get celebrated in Britain. So Malaya becomes controversial in the context of the Malayan massacre actually. And then there's this huge kind of moment in the late 1960s when a lot of ghosts of theMalayan emergency get drugged up.
