The Pandemic Emergency Is Ending, Right?
The idea that Congress intended this 20 years after the act was passed, I just think does not pass any reasonable test. The fact that the constituency that is going to wildly disproportionately benefit from this just happens to be core to the Democratic coalition is not a coincidence. Unless you are willing to do a rigorous inventory of your position and look for examples of where these principles can be applied to your own side, you don't have an actual standard.
