Austin Cleon grew up in a really small, rural town in Southern Ohio called Circleville. He met his wife at Miami University and they've been together for about 10 years. When he was living in Cleveland, he started making newspaper blackout poems that look like the CIA did haiku. Now he's a writer and full time artist, and I just put out a book called Show Your Work.
