Is There a General Disinflationary Trend?
I continue to think regardless of what the February 14th number is for January that we're still going to see a general disinflationary trend throughout the year. The other thing to consider is like what just happened with the unemployment numbers and everybody was up in arms, right? It was a nine sigma event,. They're changing the way they calculate CPI too. And so this is the first time we're going to see that number. So I would say nobody really knows other than the people who are calculating the number, what the effect will be. If it's lower than expected and it kind of surprises to the downside, I think that could cause risk assets to pop in the near
