Katy: I think people who hate the knitty gritty side of budgeting will find that this investment framework works a little bit better. It's simple. You just determine over all how much you want to allicate toward the future versus the present, and then give yourself overall guide lines for each one. This framework quickly exposes dollars that are not doing their job, and it allows you to spend, or should i say, invest, in a way that reinforces what matters to you.
