The Problem With the First Amendment

The Connecticut law is the interesting one in a lot of ways because apparently it's a remnant of a law that's been on the books there since 1917. In Massachusetts, you've got a word that breaks down on gender lines. It's used entirely to insult one gender and not the other. And yet we still have this idea that speech is free in the United States? I don't know why we have that idea.
