The Color Red Is in the Thing

The color red is really in the thing as opposed to these are wavelengths of light bouncing off it and interacting with our eye and creating a subjective qualia. I don't get red without having that object interacting with things external to that object. That's just what Locke would say too, though, right? It's a power. It's not an occult power. But law calls powers. So what I say, the red exists in the object.
