Introduction

A bonus episode. A story that's been passed down through hundreds of years and one that I thought might be helpful for some people to hear as we kick off 2022. Once upon a time there was a girl who lived in a village. It was one of those nondescript European villages from the Middle Ages. The villagers would deliver one goat each month to the cave and the monster wouldn't cause any trouble. That agreement had been going on so long that no one alive had actually seen the monster. Though Terry, the oldest man in the village, swore that as a baby he'd seen it set fire to a barn.
