The Failure of Washington Monument

The Washington Monument isn't quite done yet, is it? I know. It's like we've been through this before, but still they decided to take the gamble. Cost for the pedestal part after the foundation was done, we're going to be $300 a day and they did have enough money to start,. How embarrassing if they were to run out of cash and then have this half finished failure in plain sight again.
