The People's Mujahideen, which at this point is allied with Saddam Hussein and actually has is based in Iraq launches a basically an attack and assault. Little do they know that there was very much an ambush waiting for them and they just absolutely sort of decimated. What happens then is that the Islamic Republic uses this as a pretext to massacre these 5000 as many as 5000 prisoners, many of whom were members of the People'sMujahideen. And also I should say that many, many sort of leftists, many, many secular Marxist, then it's Marxist, Leninist and Marxist independent Marxist, Maoists and so on, were also executed.
