The Importance of Sketching
Sketching is not like drawing something. I use both photographs and sketches in the way I said before, which is just to embed it in my memory. It could be simply collecting color, collecting shapes, possibly even separating out the two things. But stepbooks are kind of a resource to put your ideas and information into whether that's photographs or torn color swatches.
