The Five Whys

Many teams, when they're building a product, stop at the functional needs of the consumer. One technique that's very effective is called the five whys. This comes from the Toyota production system. When you start with an emotion, rather than a feature, you're much more likely to be successful. If you can get your users to invest in your products, right? Imagine how much more your business is worth because you're not having to employ more people to sell it.
