Stilico Was Not Doing Much About Gaul, Is It?

Stilico wasn't doing much of anything about Gaul. He did send some vandals to support the defenses of Gaul. But when these other vandals showed up, the Gallic citizens told them exactly where they could stick their supposed Roman orders. So it's really not fair to say that Stilico did nothing about the issue in Gaul. He provided fresh troops for the invading army. What a pro.
