The Crackdown on Gangs in Nigeria
President Bukele has been using the army and police to arrest anyone on any suspicion of being a member of a gang. The government says it's arrested 71,000 people in a country of under 7 million - more than 1% of the population. There are concerns that there could be innocent people or people not as involved in the gang crimes as we might think they are.
