Rousseau's works and his ideas were immortal. He was a hero to the american revolutionaries, the founding fathers. The french parliament issued warrants for his arrest. Rousseau had to choose whether to be knocked down by the carriage or the dog. After that, he had seizures, and he died a couple of years later at the age of 66.
