There's only so much complexity you can compact into a molecule. molecules get bigger and they become polymers, then there's a different way of counting things that we're working out at the moment. You can get molecules that have complexities going up to 30, 40, 50, or 60. But there might be another phase transition. So suddenly you might even use assembly to not just tell the difference between dad and a lot of life, but life and technology and technology wise intelligence.
