The Importance of Learning From Experience

Cortland: There's definitely a lot that we got wrong, you know, choosing sunlight as an idea and going through the ups and downs of that. But there was no real way for us to understand that and internalize that without having to go through that as a failure. So I think learning from experience is very valuable. And it goes back to what I was saying earlier, which is that you could spend a lot of time reading stuff but only if you actually do it.
