The Brokenness of Beauty
I think some of the most painful things for us are things that are meant to be beautiful but then are broken and what do we do with that in our relationship with God anything we talk about related to beauty we have to talk about the brokenness of beauty in a fallen world it just comes up again and again. I would give so many examples of that but just take for example the gift of a newborn child nothing is more beautiful than a baby but if you're thoughtful you realize this new person that has all this potentiality is also going to experience heartbreak and loss and struggle like you want to push those thoughts out of your mind. But actually we need to experience the world as it is
