The Effects of Lupus Disease on Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes
You looked at the pregnancy outcomes in those women before and after their lupus diagnosis. And you found similar rates of adverse pregnancy outcomes including pre-term deliveries and preeclampsia. So I wonder if there is a pre-clinical disease state in lupus that maybe negatively impacts these outcomes? Sure so we compared 60 lupus pregnancies that occurred before l Lupus diagnosis to 178 pregnancies that occurred after lupsus diagnosis.
