What's the Line of Sight Thinking?

When we're talking about line of sight, we're going the specific kind of chunks or milestones are we go from mission to values, then to goals, then to projects. So there's very distinct phases that encompass the whole line of sight thinking. And what i thought i heard you say, was that where companies really fall down, or where there's a lot of opportunity for miscommunication or friction, is really from that project towards completion and celebration. But good scope documents, those are rare in organizations.
