The Insect Migration Association
Fred and nora developed a careful system in which they some of the scales off of one of the insect's wings, and then they would fold the sticker around the edge of the wing. The butterflies kept flying as normal, seemingly unbothered. Every tiny sticker had contact information for the ercart's office so that anybody who found one of these butterflies, or even just saw e, might be able to report in to the couple.

Monarch butterflies are still in the middle of their story – and it’s one that is precarious. Humans are still trying to figure out a lot about them, and aspects of the monarch story have been misrepresented over the years.
