Chatbots and the Physician Patient Experience
A paper that came out in late April in JAMA Internal Medicine took 195 patients from a social medium forum and basically had either licensed healthcare professionals talk to them or chat bots. And it was kind of amazing that in general, the patients found the chat bots more empathetic than doctors. But again, like it's the kind of thing that very few doctors will have the time to be able to take this kind of thing in the office.
