The Long End of the Curve Is Beholden to Two Things
The long end of the curve is beholden to really two things. Covet is still in the picture, like it or not. Just look at what's going on in southeast asia to day. And i think until we can really sound the all clear and say we've gone from pandemic to endemic, you're going to see the long end be weighed down by the presence of the virus. The other thing is just the uncertainty around the pace of economic growth going forward. How much are these higher food and energy prices going away on consumption, and what does that mean in terms of the outlook for growth? I think until the market gets past those two things, we're probably looking
