I Don't Think We'll Be Able to Break Like the Speed of Light Barrier
My guess is that humans won't be able to break things like the speed of light barrier. The rules of physics as we see them at low energies will be the rules they play with in terms of a physical scale. It's very expensive to send a physical human on any sort of distance. But if we do develop digital minds or artificial intelligence, I see no reason why we would bother to put all the effort to physically bring humans to other planets.
