The Importance of a Pastor's Budget

I hope a budget is involved in praying for the budget, thinking through how the budget comes together. I don't think every church needs an executive pastor. We're kind of on the small end at a thousand members to have someone who gives a lot of attention to this kind of work. Elders are overseers and that gives a sense of stewardship over material things. And so this is not about your personal agenda. This is about what we're doing together as a church.
