Econ Judge Camp started in 1976 and judges were learning from some Econ-heavy hitters. By 1990, 40% of the nation's federal judges had gone to one of these retreats. Two judges who would wind up on the US Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Clarence Thomas.
