One of the things i fear as i get older is cynicism. Is that something you do, you think abouto you're immune from it? I think defended from it. Maybe iam kind of driven back by my soon to be 14 year old daughter. She obviously is growing up in a world that my generation has done everything to screw up. So her inheritance from me and from my generation is a very bleak one. But i think she is quite hopeful of creating a reality which is better. And i think that saves me from excessive cynicism and despair. Because i think every generation does remake the world for itself, and it is definitely their turn. That's why there's so much riding
