Is There a Series Between Statements in the History of Madness?
He really establishes the goal of finding or seeing series between statements. And it would be a mistake to think that he has the goal, I think, of looking for a particular series at a particular time. So his goal is to treat those statements as monuments instead of documents. It says more than what that text actually says. There is some further narrative or implication of that.
