A lot of my background is in back end and internal solutions, so I was challenged with that. And Aaron Walter's book, Designing for Emotion, really transformed my perception on that radically. But what follows up with that, with unfortunately, with little control, because I do fall into the category of one of those emos and see-your-hearted dudes: Fear. You know, it's always fear of the unknown, you know, can definitely get you. Just doing things blindly is a definite enemy to our field.
